CU Recovery Academy Scholarship Available The CU Recovery Collection Academy is a premier educational conference for Credit Unions of any size. Credit unions are eager to attend but some may not have this type of training in their 2016 budget. In keeping with the People Helping People philosophy, CU Recovery is offering a scholarship program for the October event. Details are available on the Training tab of this website.

The hassle comes when credit unions must change the format of their files for digital export to their outsource partner. CU Recovery has enhanced its protocol so that credit unions can export their files using the software that they have in place, including prior collection notes.

Collection Department Survey Results
In a recent client survey conducted by CU Recovery, a staggering 80% of respondents said that finding experienced collectors was difficult. In another significant areas of the survey, 45% of respondents state that staff are not proficient in skip tracing, may not be up to date with compliance and regulations and that the credit union recovery goals would not be reached in 2014.
