Provide a 500 word or less essay for each of the following statements. Please be thorough in your explanation, it might make the difference between being awarded a scholarship or not.
- Applicant, on behalf of the credit union must demonstrate a financial need. Typical reasons could include lack of Travel and Training Budget, or an extreme operational need that requires the credit union to get external help with collections.
- What specifically would you like to achieve by attending the Academy?
- How would your attendance impact your department, your job or collection success at the credit union?
Selection Process & Important Dates
Applications will be accepted through April 20, 2018. A scholarship committee of CUR/TLSC management will review entries between April 21 and May 18, 2018. All entrants will be notified of the committee's decision via email by May 21, 2018. The scholarship awards will be posted on the CU Recovery website and included in the June 2018 CU Recovery newsletter.
