Headquartered in Wyoming, Minnesota, CU Recovery and The Loan Service Center provide two separate and distinct services to our credit union clients.
CU Recovery, Inc. (CUR) is a full service, nationally licensed collection agency managing non-performing and charged off loans with a comprehensive menu of third party collection services. CUR is recognized as the leading industry expert for credit union collections of all loan types.

The Loan Service Center, Inc. (TLSC) provides staff to credit union collection departments on a part time, full time, temporary, or permanent basis. Not a collection agency, TLSC Account Service Representatives work under the direction of the credit union's Collection Manager and follow the collection procedures established by the client to service the client's delinquent loan portfolio prior to charge off. The TLSC team is acknowledged by credit unions as the most capable at minimizing losses from delinquent loans through competent, consistent coverage.

We believe there are no two companies in the nation better equipped to serve the needs of credit union collection departments than CU Recovery and The Loan Service Center. We understand the difference between a member and a customer. We know what a SEG is as well as a field of membership. We understand the relationship that exists between a credit union's board, its management, and its members. Key Events
Early Years, 1990:
The Company was formed in Wyoming, MN with the intent of helping Minnesota credit unions maximize their recoveries from charged off loans.
Mid 1990's:
CU Recovery begins collecting outside of Minnesota. Willing to share what he had learned about what it takes to bring delinquent members current, President Kelly Becker begins educating credit unions nationwide on organizing collection tasks and implementing successful collection procedures.
1997 CU Recovery's Steady Growth:
In response to client needs The Loan Service Center was formed in order to provide temporary and permanent staff to credit union collection departments.
2003 Pioneer in Collector Transparency:
CU Recovery creates a process to allow clients online access to all collector notes as well as introducing an online file submission process.
2010 Creation of the Collection Academy:
CU Recovery begins hosting a two day annual collection academy in Minneapolis to provide clients with continuing education on collection related topics necessary to effectively operate their collection department.
CU Recovery and The Loan Service Center become a wholly owned subsidiary of PSCU.
CU Recovery launches Training On The Go, an online video training series.

CU Recovery Today:
With 120+ employees, CUR has worked with over 2,700 credit unions and operates in all 50 states. TLSC has worked with over 200 collection departments.
