November 6, 2018 Successful CU Recovery Collection Academy CU Recovery’s 2018 Collection Academy was another successful exchange of ideas focused how credit unions can increase effectiveness in their collection departments. The sold-out crowd included credit union participants from 28 states around the country. Many sent several people to take advantage of the rich content found in 9 separate sessions, roundtable discussions and in networking with their peers.
October 9, 2018 CU Forward Day CU Recovery joined a group from the Minnesota Credit Union Network on CU Forward day, Monday, October 8th. Both groups dedicated the day to community service by volunteering their time packing meals at the Second Harvest Heartland distribution center. CU Recovery’s dedicated team contributes both time and financial support to the people and communities where they live and work. Credit unions, as not-for-profit financial institutions give back profits to their members and the communities that they serve.
September 19, 2018 CU Recovery Launches Desktop Collection Training CU Recovery announces the launch of the Training On The Go, a series of collection call training modules from the experts at CU Recovery. Learning studies have shown that continuous and recurrent education is essential to productive results. The Training On The Go module series was designed to bring concise, comprehensive training videos to the collector's desktop to be used when it fits into their day and at their own pace.
May 15, 2018 2018 Scholarship Winners 3 scholarship winners have been announced for the 2018 CU Recovery Collection Academy. The winners were pleased to win their tuition and 3 nights lodging.
February 20, 2018 2018 Academy Scholarship Recognizing that budgets can be strained, the Academy continues to offer a scholarship program that includes free Academy tuition and hotel accommodations to credit union staff member(s) that are chosen.
December 14, 2017 CUR/TLSC Building Expansion With consumer debt rising at a dizzying pace, it is no surprise that debt collection has become a growth industry. Predictions are for a 11+% growth in 2018. CUR/TLSC has finished a building expansion to house the increased number of collectors needed meet credit unions expanding needs.
