First Party Collection Solutions - Extended Services
All administrative work involved with filing proof of claims and reaffirmations are handled by The Loan Service Center (TLSC). TLSC will communicate with the Trustee or Attorney on behalf of the credit union in order to come to an agreement on any items that need to be resolved. It is the credit unions responsibility to track payments as they are paid directly to the credit union.
TLSC specialists coordinate all facets of the repossession and liquidation of collateral. The credit union is billed for expenses related to the recovery and sale of the collateral.
TLSC Agents have training and access to tools for light skip tracing. If the TLSC Agent feels that it would benefit the credit union to utilize more aggressive skip tracing for a specific loan, other options are available. The TLSC Agent will communicate with the credit union for prior approval on additional expenses.
This is another way we attempt to communicate with a member that can't be reached by phone. This service is used to gather information about the member, the collateral, or to communicate the urgency of returning a phone call. The door knocks agent does not provide collection-related services. The TLSC Agent will communicate with the credit union for prior approval on additional expenses.
Sending letters, such as 'right to cure', 'can't get the member on the telephone', or 'cross collateralization' is a service performed by TLSC. The specifics of a contact plan will be developed during the start-up process.
